SOUL'd OUT is a Japanese hip-hop band that consists of three members: Diggy-MO' (Main MC), Bro. Hi (MC/Human Beat Box), and Shinnosuke (Trackmaster). They did the second ending theme for Yakitate!! Japan, called "To All Tha Dreamers". Their name is a pun of "soul (music)" and "sold out". Biography Diggy-MO' Diggy-MO' is the Main MC for Soul'd Out. Diggy-MO' has acquired a foundation of music through classic piano for at least 10 years. In Junior High School he formed a band which was heavily influenced by the Hip-Hop group The Roots. Although when Diggy-MO' attended a university of fine arts to major in graphics, he continued to dabble in music. The wide variation of SOUL'd Out's music has a message that appeals to imagination and almost leads listeners into another world. The music is not restricted and is delivered with a lot of heart. The various artists that Diggy-MO' attributes his influence from are The Roots, Fugees, Outkast, Slick Rick, Jay-Z, Nas, Lostboyz, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Missy Elliot, Dungion Family and Lauryn Hill, Mary J.Blige, SWV, Black Street, Michael Jackson, TLC, N.E.R.D, Destiny Child, Kelis, Okamura Kiyoshi happiness, m-flo, Utada Hikaru, Bennie K, Mozart, the list, Chopin, and Bach. Bro.Hi Bro.Hi is the Human Beat Box/MC for Soul'd Out. He has always had a love of black music especially blues. He personally formed a band in Junior High School and manned the drums. The drummer of The Who, Keith Moon, was a big influence of how he played the drums. Bro.Hi also has an interest of artists from that time. Afterwards, Bro.Hi found an interest in Jim Morrison from The Doors. He began writing lyrics, but after he encountered The Roots he is drawn towards the world of hip-hop. While seeing The Roots, Bro.Hi experiences his first exposure to the method of the Human Beat Box. He then begins to polish the skills in human beat boxing and researches how it is done. With SOUL'd OUT Bro.Hi helps write lyrics and performs backup MC. The artists who influenced Bro.Hi are The Roots, RZA, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Nas, Naughty By Nature, Lauryn Hill, TLC, Aaliyah, Zhane, The Who, The Doors, Janis Joplin, The Jam, Inoue positive water, DJ Krush and Utada Hikaru. Shinnosuke Shinnosuke is the DJ for Soul'd Out. Although he studied oil painting and design in Junior High and High School, he was also fascinated with music. While in elementary school Shinnosuke began playing the trombone and formed a brass band. He then progressed to the keyboard. At high school graduation he started making his own original music which came from observing Jam & Lewis. After that he looked towards DJing music which has a black music basis. Shinnosuke utilizes creativity, imagination, and puts heart into his music. With Diggy-MO, Shinnosuke helps to put the melody into Soul'd Out's music and helps arrange the music as well. Shinnosuke has been influenced by P-Diddy, TrackMasters, Timbaland, Neptunes, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley, Bernard Edwards & Nile Rogers, BabyFace, TJ.Kura, Rodney Jerkin, Tim & Bob and Prince.
