Pusha T (born May 14, 1977)[1] is a Virginia Beach based rapper and one half of the critically acclaimed Hip-Hop duo Clipse. In September 2010 he announced that he has signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music label and on March 21, 2011 released his first solo mixtape, Fear of God.
Early life and Clipse
Pusha T was born in The Bronx, New York City but soon relocated to Norfolk, Virginia. In 1992 Terrence and his brother Gene formed the duo now internationally known as Clipse. With help from Pharell Williams the group eventually signed to Elektra Records in 1997 and released one album under the label. After three more albums under various record labels both Malice and Pusha announced that they were taking time off from Clipse to focus on their own respective solo projects.[4]

Following his signing to GOOD Music, Pusha has been featured on a number of fellow label mates' projects such as Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and many GOOD Music Friday tracks. On March 21, 2011 Pusha T released his first solo mixtape, Fear of God. He is working on "Fear Of God 2", which was set to release on June 21, 2011,[5] but as of now has no set release date. He is also working on his debut solo album, yet to be titled, which includes tracks produced by The Neptunes, Kanye West, Bangladesh, Ryan Leslie and Alex da Kid.[6][7][8] The Re-Up Gang will release a new mixtape as well called "Long Live The Cane".[9] Pusha T also stated that the Clipse will do another album after his solo album and the Re-Up Gang mixtape.[10] After weeks of buzz, on July 8, 2011 Trouble On My Mind featuring Odd Future frontman, Tyler, The Creator was released. This track will be featured on Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray.
