Vancouver native Vials is looking to disrupt the music landscape, particularly the male dominated rap genre. Vials was introduced to dance at the age of seven, listened to Christina Aguilera, Pink, and TLC as a 90’s pre-teen and began writing her own music in high school. Her musical influences include Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, and Spooky Black.
Flaunting her late 90s and early 2000s musical influences, futuristic fashion flare, and endless charisma, Vials can go bar for bar with the best of them. Drawing on her love for writing poetry and countless rap battles with her brother, she turned her passion for writing and wordplay into expressive verses and addictive hooks. Duality authentic to Vials’ character also defines her sound: idyllic juxtaposition of her sultry vocals against melodic rap beats. Today a Vials track is lyrically alluring and sonically fits on a playlist between Lana Del Rey and Lil Uzi Vert.
